“Following our event, we have received comments from several of our wedding guests about how stunning our venue was, especially the ceremony area (The Terrace). One of our guests even told us it looked like something out of a magazine. Simply beautiful. We also received compliments on how lovely the red wine was (Chain of Fire Cab Sauv and Mt Duneed Pinot Noir). My husband and I also did not do any taste testing of the meals however were extremely impressed on the night at how delicious the food was!! From the moment we walked in on Thursday to set up, the staff were nothing but friendly and helpful. Throughout the whole wedding, the Food and Beverage Manager checked in with both myself and my parents to make sure the wedding was running well and we had everything we needed. “We recently had our wedding ceremony and reception here on The Terrace and in the Lillias Room.⁠ After being delayed due to Covid we didn’t know what to expect, but it was absolutely AMAZING!⁠ The staff were incredibly helpful from the start of organising everything up until the last minute when we left for our wedding night. We had our 8 month old son there and they were incredibly accommodating and helpful with him.⁠ The food was amazing, there was so much and everyone commented how delicious it was.⁠ The bartenders were great and constantly had all the drinks flowing and available for our guests.⁠ Finally, the Lillias Room looked amazing, we had simple flower arrangements for the room and it still looked stunning as the view from the room at night itself is enough.⁠ Thank you for making our wedding amazing!!” Beckk & Ben (Bride & Groom)

“From the moment our wedding was cancelled in April due to Covid, The Pier Events Team has been nothing but amazing. Their patience and commitment towards us was just what we needed to lock in our new date. Together we achieved all obstacles with Covid continuing and got to have our special day after all. The staff were amazing with making the night run smoothly and they were just so friendly. The Food and Beverage Manager also went out of her way to make sure the Bride & Groom were well looked after. “We would like to thank our Events Specialist for her excellent handling and planning of our special day. Very friendly and professional planning of the event. Thorough in all aspects, in particular communication. All questions and concerns were answered and dealt with promptly. It gave us a great sense of confidence and relief that the day was well prepared for. Our Food and Beverage Manager coordinated the day beautifully, making sure that it flowed according to the timings that had been put in place for the different aspects of a wedding day, ie, ceremony, photos, first dance, communication with the MC etc. Very friendly and in tune with the significance and importance of the day for a newly-wed couple. Food was amazing, service was exceptional and the atmosphere and energy of the whole evening was spectacular. Impossible to fault really and highly recommended! If you want your day to be sensational, roll with this team – they will no disappoint! We had many of our family and friends comment on the venue, it’s friendly staff and excellent service.
