When local group Provincial Media decided to develop a bridal magazine dedicated to the Geelong region, naturally, we jumped at the chance to be involved.
What better place to launch a wedding publication than at a premium waterfront wedding (and events…!) venue? And what better time than our 5-year anniversary – giving us the opportunity to involve our supportive and loyal clients who have been such an integral part of our journey.
The venue looked amazing, the vocal talents of Tom and Taylor serenaded the crowd, the champagne was flowing and guests were treated to one of Executive Chef Norbert Bell’s famous cheese and antipasto barrels, along with a delicious selection of canapes.
The space was styled to perfection by the events team, along with a number of our fave suppliers, to showcase the versatility, different theming options and overall attractiveness of the venue itself, because, let’s face it – ‘she’s’ a stunning venue!
Guests were treated to stories from our years of operation – explaining the lengths we have gone to, to ensure exceptional service for our clients over the years – before the gents from Provincial Media took to the microphone to launch their new baby, ‘Living Bliss’.
We are delighted to have been able to play a part in the unveiling of Geelong’s latest and greatest wedding publication – a wonderful showcase of what the region has to offer.
The following day, we opened the doors to the venue for our first ever Open House event, inviting anyone interested in hosting an event in Geelong to come along to the venue and view the space set up in all its glory.
A gold coin donation was charged upon entry, with all proceeds going to the Barwon Health Foundation and all brides and grooms in attendance received a complimentary copy of Living Bliss – BONUS!!!
We had so many beautiful couples through the doors – some existing clients looking for theming and styling inspiration, some who had previously made enquiries but had yet to step inside the space and some new guests who had always wondered what our venue looked like on the inside (yes… it’s a wee, little, tiny, bit different from its Smorgy’s days!!).
It was so fantastic to have the opportunity to welcome them all, discuss their options and what we have to offer, and just generally have them explore the venue.
To all of those who came along, were involved in the process along the way and to those who helped us spread the word – we thank you. We also would like to thank all of our clients and suppliers – without your continued support we simply wouldn’t be able to do what we do, and we look forward to the continuing to strengthen our relationships in the future.
Until next time….
ez 🙂
