Nothing can describe the absolute sparkle in Ben & Mel’s smiles at their stunning waterfront celebration. It certainly seamed like something straight out of your favourite movie – think sunset, fairy lights, sparklers and oh too many picture perfect moments!
Saying the big ‘I Do’ at a beautiful nearby Garden Wedding, Ben and Mel arrived at The Pier hand in hand and just in time to experience the pink and yellow hues of our waterfront sunset. With barely a cloud in the sky and the soft ocean breeze sweeping through Mel’s hair, golden hour was upon them – ready for that perfect shot.
The beautiful weather followed them inside as they walked into their reception full of cheers and surrounded by the summer sunset soaking the room through the floor to ceiling windows. Once awed by the incredible view of Corio Bay and the Geelong city skyline, Guests were immediately entangled in the pure happiness and euphoria of two glowing people walking into the room.

As night was falling and just before the dark sky allowed fairy lights to glitter above the guests, Ben and Mel stole a secret moment to not only embrace the day that was, but also capture a few stand out memories that will last a life time. Proving that wedding photography is indeed an art form, photographer Leah Ladson, captured these magical moments and we are so privileged to be able to share them with you!
As the night flew by and the dance floor saw many fabulous (and some slightly quirky) moves, the day was drawing to a close. One perfect celebration may have found its ending but this was only a beginning of Mel and Bens lifetime together.
