How can businesses donate a little extra? Put an item up for auction!
We will be offering a silent online auction in the lead up to the Australia Day event. We ask that you indicate on the below form what item you could offer to ease the hurt and destitution of our regional cousins.
This is to be very much a genuine donation, so it should hurt a little bit but, feel good at the same time. It’s not an avenue to cater for those wanting to clean out dead stock for bargain hunters. Therefore, we ask you to list a quality product along with its current retail price and the price you will buy it back for. That is, should your item not reach your reasonable reserve price, you retain the item and return the dollar value as a donation.
Eg: offer a table with a retail value of $500 and put a reserve of $220.00 on it. $220.00 being a price you are comfortable it will sell for. So should the item not clear, you commit to purchasing it yourself at the $220.00 reserve.
Should your item not reach your reasonable reserve on the 26th January – your credit card will be automatically charged the reserved/buy back price you list below before 10am Monday 27th January 2020. No refunds will be issued.
