The Pier Geelong are proud to be hosting the Deakin University DesignMind International Symposium, the first of its kind in Australia.
DESIGN CITY | BUILDING AN INNOVATION ECOSYSTEM Symposium, hosted by Deakin University, DesignMind and the City of Greater Geelong – Australia’s only designated UNESCO City of Design – brings together business leaders, governance bodies and research & educational institutions to explore the role of Design & Creativity in creating innovation ecosystems.
The Symposium aims to introduce the concept of a “Design-Enabled Innovation Ecosystem” and will explore the value of DESIGN, both as a creative process and as a systemic methodology.
Over two days the Symposium will feature a unique blend of content delivered by international and local thought and business leaders, innovators, CEOs and creative minds. Participants will be inspired by some of the world’s most renowned Design and System Thinkers. Attendees will also engage in a highly interactive and dialogue-driven panel discussions, case-studies and keynote presentations that provide unbridled access to best practices, valuable insights, tools and techniques.
