From the very beginning, this Real Wedding Story of Sarah and Michael will melt your heart…..
Travelling around Australia for 3 months, Sarah and Michael’s engagement was something movie like. As they arrived to Cape Leveque just above Broome, Sarah and Michael found themselves at a beach watching the summer sun set over the rippling water. Having strategically set up the camera on self timer to snap a selfie with the beautiful sun set, Michael dropped to one knee to proposed and the moment was captured forever. A special memory neither of them will never forget.
During months of preparation the excitement towards the big day bubbled and finally it was the morning of!
Sarah along with her five bridesmaids had the BEST morning before all the formalities got underway. As they were pampered, the Bridal Party had a mini party with champagne flowing as their playlist sparked excitement and dimmed the nerves. Joined by Sarah’s parents, it was the perfect preparation before the big ‘I Do’.
Arriving at the wedding there was a real buzz in the sea air and despite the nerves, Sarah’s only thought was – “I can’t wait to see Michael”.
As Sarah rounded the corner to walk down the isle, Robbie Williams’ Angels began to fill the room. Despite being a beautiful song alone, Sarah and Michael held it close to their heart. When they were out early in their relationship, Michael confessed how he felt towards Sarah as it was playing. Since then, it’s been ‘their song’ and was an easy choice for the most memorable part of the big day.
The wedding ceremony was everything the couple could have hoped for and the smiles within the room were contagious!
Arriving at the reception as Husband and Wife, the room followed a beautiful rustic style. Fairy lights hovered overhead and the Bridal Table backed onto the stunning floor to ceiling windows showcasing the rippling bay behind them. Picture perfect not unlike Sarah and Michael’s engagement!
Sarah having danced her whole life and now owning her own Dance Studio, worked with her wedding party to choreograph a routine for the whole Wedding Party to perform at the reception. Not only was this a whole lot of fun in the preparation and execution, but also a huge surprise for all the guests!
The sun set over their wedding day as beautifully as it had the evening of Sarah and Michael’s engagement. With the Geelong city skyline twinkling in the distance, it was truly incredible.
Sarah’s words of wisdom for future couples are….”Go 110%! Plan and do everything you want to do! Get the photo booth. Get the acoustic guitarist. Don’t leave any ‘what-if’s’ or regrets. Make your wedding exactly as you would like it!”
