Christina and Marko\u2019s autumn wedding brought a striking contemporary chic to The Pier. \u201cWe wanted a venue that was a blank canvas,\u201d Christina says. \u201cThe Pier Geelong is modern and elegant. From a styling perspective, we could do what we wanted inside.\u201d<\/em><\/p>\n

Soon, the room swayed with \u201csoft and elegant but cool and contemporary\u201d styling from Nomad Styling and Moss Industry flowers. \u201cWe had lots of black, we love black, and Perspex boxes with flowers on the tables,\u201d Christina says.<\/em><\/p>\n

\"\"For their 160 guests, the couple needed somewhere central with lots of parking. And food. \u201cI\u2019m from a Greek Macedonian family and Marko is Croatian so food was really important,\u201d Christina laughs.<\/em><\/p>\n

\u201cSo we kind of went a bit crazy and The Pier Geelong were really flexible and accommodating during all the planning right through to the end. We had seven courses; canap\u00e9s, cheese station, antipasto, entr\u00e9e, main, dessert\u00a0<\/em>and a cake by the fabulous Alice Broadway Cake Design<\/em>.\u201d Add a flow of premium wines and spirits and no one left hungry or thirsty.<\/em><\/p>\n
