What a year 2020 has been! We’ve all had some event or celebration cancelled due to COVID-19. From graduations to birthdays to weddings; we’ve all missed out on something we were so looking forward to this year.
Here at The Pier, we’ve seen so many beautiful wedding plans flipped upside down. With dates forced to be rescheduled so couples can have the wedding of their dreams. Or those that haven’t been rescheduled have instead substantially scaled down their plans to have a more intimate and safe celebration.
We want couples that have reimagined their original plans because of COVID to make the day as special as they’d always hoped it would be. That’s why we’ve come up with the ultimate micro-wedding option for your Pier celebration! This is the perfect package for couples that want their wedding anniversary to be on a special date to them – whether it’s the day they had their first date, the day they got engaged, or another important day.
Our newest option, the Ceremony only package, includes:
- The Terrace beautifully decorated with tealight candles
- Your choice of Pier arbour for your ceremony backdrop
- White chairs for your witnesses or small group of guests set up in The Terrace
- A registry table with white linen
- Plus, you can add arrival or departure drinks to celebrate!
The celebration doesn’t have to end after the ceremony though, we have 3 incredible restaurants here at The Pier – Wah Wah Gee, Wah Bah and Gin Garden. Why not book a private dinner for yourselves, or your guests, after your ceremony and celebrate your newlywed status with a delicious dinner and cocktails over the bay! Or, you can come back to where it all happened and have a big celebration with loved ones when it’s safe to do so again at a later date.
Not only is this the perfect COVID wedding option, but it’s also a great alternative to a big wedding for those that want a more intimate celebration.
